Frequently Asked Questions

01.

Where do I get my reptile license in Queensland?

In Queensland all reptiles require a license to be kept as pets, there are no exceptions to this rule, to obtain a recreational (sometimes called a basic license) you will need to visit the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection (DEHP) and purchase your license online with a credit card. Once you have received your license number in your email you may legally purchase reptiles from other licensed breeders or commercially licensed pet shops in Queensland.

02.

I live interstate or too far away, do you freight?

Yes we do, we are permitted to freight to Queensland Regional, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and the Northern Territory. We can not freight to Western Australia or Tasmania due to quarantine or species restrictions.  Freight pricing is usually stipulated on our hatchlings.  As we are quite a distance from a freight airport we freight twice a month.  All states except Queensland require import permits for reptiles - you will need to arrange this prior to purchase.  This is at the buyers expense.
